Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join our team in East London. The ideal candidate will provide legal advice and support to our various business units, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will play a critical role in mitigating legal risks and protecting the interests of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage legal projects and coordinate with internal teams.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant sectors.
• Ensure that legal documents are filed and maintained accurately.
• Assist in audits and investigations as required.
• Provide guidance on intellectual property matters.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of corporate governance.

Requirements

Education

• Master's in Law (LLM) is a plus
• Admitted attorney with relevant practice experience

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a corporate environment
