Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service during events.
  • Help to create and update menus based on seasonal availability and trends.
  • Assist in the management of kitchen operations and workflow.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food preparation areas.
  • Support food safety measures by ensuring proper food handling.
  • Engage with customers during events to understand their feedback.
  • Manage waste and implement sustainability practices in the kitchen.
  • Participate in quality control and food presentation standards.
  • Help schedule kitchen staff shifts and duties.
  • Contribute ideas to improve the overall catering experience.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Diploma in Catering or Culinary Arts preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in catering and event management
