Job Description

As a Mining Engineer at our Kriel operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and safe mining practices. Your expertise will allow you to collaborate with geologists and miners, optimizing extraction methods while focusing on sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects aimed at improving mining processes and reducing costs.
  • Evaluate equipment and technology for improved mining operations.
  • Review and manage budgets associated with mining projects.
  • Develop training programs for staff on safety and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized operations.
  • Assist in the development of company policies regarding mining operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering
  • Master's in Geology or related fields is beneficial
Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in the mining industry
