Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our Port Elizabeth team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing our HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. You will collaborate with management to support organizational development and improve employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of job descriptions and performance appraisal documentation.
  • Support the execution of recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate employee training sessions and development workshops.
  • Monitor HR metrics and report on HR-related trends.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and employee counseling.
  • Implement HR projects that enhance the employee experience.
  • Stay current on HR best practices and employment laws.
  • Contribute to a positive organizational culture through team-building activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • HR Certification (e.g., CIPD) is preferred
Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of combined experience in a generalist HR role
