Join our Durban office as a Legal Advisor where you will leverage your expertise in South African law to provide guidance and strategic advice on legal matters. This role involves drafting and reviewing legal documents, engaging with clients, and ensuring compliance across various legal frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Review and advise on policies, procedures, and agreements.
• Support corporate governance initiatives and compliance programs.
• Identify potential legal risks and develop risk management strategies.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Assist in the legal aspects of corporate transactions.
• Draft and update internal policies related to legal compliance.
• Handle inquiries from clients regarding legal matters.
• Prepare reports and presentations regarding legal matters for management.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree from a recognized university
• Postgraduate diploma in legal studies is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a legal advisory position
