Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Legal Advisor to provide expert legal guidance and support to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of South African law and offer strategic advice on legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead legal compliance initiatives and provide risk assessment.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on legal compliance and awareness.
• Participate in business development activities by providing legal insights.
• Support the company’s strategic objectives through legal insight.
• Collaborate in drafting policies to uphold legal standards.
• Provide timely updates on legal matters and compliance issues.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent degree in law
• Specialization in Corporate Law is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in corporate law

Technical Skills

• Litigation
• Regulatory Compliance

• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
• Corporate Law Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
