UX Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate UX Designer to enhance our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting user-centric designs and improving experiences across our platforms. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to create intuitive interfaces that resonate with users.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops to explain user-centered design principles to team members.
• Establish design guidelines and standards for the user interface.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to drive design decisions.
• Maintain a focus on accessibility and inclusivity in designs.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create cohesive branding.
• Present design concepts and their rationales to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Graphic Design or related field
• Relevant certifications are beneficial

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Prototyping Tools
• Information Architecture

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Adobe Certified Expert (ACE)
• Certified UX Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with design systems: Experience in creating and maintaining design systems for consistency across platforms.
