Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Investment Banker to join our busy team in Sandton. You will engage with clients to assess their financial goals and formulate strategies to enhance their investment portfolios. You'll analyse financial data, assist in mergers and acquisitions, and manage due diligence processes. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a robust understanding of financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse company financial statements to gain insights into company performance.
• Prepare pitch books for client presentations and negotiations.
• Assist in due diligence processes related to acquisitions and other financial transactions.
• Provide clients with insights and recommendations on financial products and services.
• Mentor junior analysts and team members in financial analysis and client engagement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Master's degree or MBA is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in investment banking or financial analysis
