Job Description

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of mechanical systems and a passion for innovative design. This role includes designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the manufacturing process and troubleshoot issues.
• Liaise with suppliers and clients to ensure project alignment.
• Develop maintenance plans for existing mechanical systems and components.
• Analyze and interpret data to enhance project outcomes.
• Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with robotics: Knowledge of robotics and automation processes.
