We are searching for a dedicated Hospitality Manager to oversee our hotel operations in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing guest satisfaction, managing staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Direct hotel operations while ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Develop marketing strategies to maximize occupancy rates.
  • Supervise staff and provide mentorship.
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
  • Enhance service standards through continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Develop relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Manage inventory and control costs.
  • Champion sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Budget Management Proficient in managing budgets and financial reporting.
  • Guest Relations Skilled in managing guest expectations and service quality.
  • Staff Management Experienced in leading and developing hospitality staff.
  • Health & Safety Compliance Knowledgeable in health and safety regulations for the hospitality industry.
  • Leadership Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide teams.
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving Capable of resolving conflicts and handling stressful situations.
  • Time Management Effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certified Hospitality Manager
  • Occupational Health and Safety (OHSAS)
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with hotel management software: Proficient in using systems like Opera or similar.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations: Understanding of restaurant and bar management.
