Job Description

We're looking for a driven Investment Banker in Cape Town to provide exceptional advisory services. This role involves analyzing financial data, building relationships with clients, and working on complex transactions that shape the financial landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret financial data to guide investment decisions.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide bespoke financial solutions.
  • Lead discussions on potential investments and strategic partnerships.
  • Prepare pitch materials and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends that could impact client portfolios.
  • Negotiate and structure transactions that best meet client goals.
  • Guide junior analysts and interns on best practices and industry standards.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and risk management policies in all transactions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields
  • Professional qualifications like CFA will be an advantage
Experience
  • Proven track record with at least 7 years in investment banking
