Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Clinical Psychologist who will offer psychological assessments and interventions, contributing to the holistic treatment of our clientele in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial psychological assessments and ongoing evaluations.
• Create personalized treatment plans integrating various therapeutic modalities.
• Facilitate therapy for individuals, couples, and groups.
• Document all clinical activities in accordance with professional standards.
• Work closely with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate clients on mental health issues and coping strategies.
• Engage in case conferences and contribute to treatment discussions.
• Participate in the supervision of interns or junior psychologists.

Requirements

Education

• Postgraduate training in clinical psychology
• Additional certifications in therapeutic practices are advantageous

Experience

• Experience in a clinical setting preferred

• Crisis Intervention
• Family Therapy

• Teamwork

Certifications

• HPCSA registered
• Certification in Family Therapy

Languages

• English: Fluent
