Job Description

We're in search of enthusiastic Ice Cream Servers to join our team! You'll be responsible for serving ice cream, taking orders, and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. A friendly demeanor and eagerness to learn are essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take their orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve ice cream products while ensuring quality and presentation.
• Manage the cash register and handle transactions efficiently.
• Respond to customer feedback and make recommendations on products.
• Support team members during busy periods and help ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness in the workspace and dining area.
• Participate in promotional events and marketing activities as needed.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations.
• Document inventory and assist with orders for supplies.
• Train new staff on customer service best practices and product offerings.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12 certificate preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a customer service role is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Basic math skills

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Teamwork
• Attention to detail

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Food safety certification: Certification in food safety practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of ice cream flavours: Familiarity with various ice cream flavours and toppings.
