As a Stone Cutter or Carver, you will play a vital role in crafting exquisite stonework for various projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in cutting, shaping, and installing stone according to project specifications, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Shape and carve stone to project specifications.
• Work with clients to interpret their design requirements into stone projects.
• Oversee the installation of stone structures ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
• Train apprentices in stoneworking techniques and equipment handling.
• Audit tools and equipment for compliance and safety standards.
• Document progress and any project updates for transparency.

Requirements

Education

• Trade Certification in Stonemasonry or related field

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in stoneworking or similar construction roles

Technical Skills

• Blueprint reading
• Physical fitness

Certifications

• Health and Safety Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
