Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and team members.
• Evaluate potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors during construction.
• Utilize software tools for project modeling and simulations.
• Report on project status to stakeholders and senior management.
• Continuously seek ways to improve engineering processes and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering

• Civil 3D
• Geotechnical Software

Soft Skills

• Effective Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Civil Engineer
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Building Codes and Local Regulations: Understanding of South African building codes and regulations.
