Learning and Development Specialist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an HR Generalist who is passionate about driving HR initiatives and providing invaluable support to our employees. As an integral part of our team, you will handle various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Implement innovative learning methodologies to improve employee skill sets.
• Work closely with subject matter experts to develop training materials.
• Deliver both in-person and virtual training sessions.
• Track and report on employee training progress and achievements.
• Engage employees through interactive learning experiences.
• Develop partnerships with external training providers.
• Encourage employee participation in development opportunities.
• Promote and drive inclusivity within training programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related field
• Additional certifications in Adult Learning Principles will be an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in training and development roles

Technical Skills

• Facilitation Skills
• Digital Learning Tools

Soft Skills

• Motivation and Encouragement
• Organizational skills

Certifications

• Learning Experience Designer Certification
• Coaching or Mentorship Certifications are a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with data analysis and reporting on training effectiveness: Skills in analyzing data to improve training programs.
• Familiarity with project management tools: Proficient in tools such as Trello or Asana for managing training projects.
