Software Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software testing methodologies and a strong understanding of both manual and automated testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure performance standards.
• Document and communicate test results, providing detailed reports.
• Collaborate with product teams to define testing requirements.
• Develop automated test scripts for continuous integration.
• Ensure adherence to QA standards and processes.
• Assist in the implementation of quality assurance methodologies.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
• Identify areas for process improvement and suggest solutions.
• Contribute to the development of a testing strategy.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or similar

Experience

• 3+ years in a QA role, specifically software testing
