Job Description

As a Brickmason or Blockmason at Premier Furnaces, you will play an integral role in assembling and installing industrial furnaces. Your expertise will ensure that our furnaces meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial furnaces to meet performance standards.
• Inspect and test furnaces to ensure they function correctly and safely.
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies for furnace maintenance.
• Coordinate with engineers and technicians on project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all tasks.
• Maintain clear records of maintenance activities for reporting.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Trade qualification in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in furnace assembly and installation.

Technical Skills

• Welding

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in commissioning industrial furnaces: Hands-on experience in setting up furnaces for operation after installation.
• Knowledge of safety regulations: Familiarity with industry safety standards for working with heavy machinery.
