Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Analyst who is ready to take on a new challenge in Durban. In this role, you will assess and streamline supply chain processes, use data-driven insights to enhance efficiency, and collaborate with various stakeholders to develop effective supply chain strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analysis of existing supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with various departments to streamline the logistics process.
• Implement new strategies to enhance inventory management.
• Report on findings and recommendations for improvement.
• Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contract terms.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
• Analyze market trends to inform procurement strategies.
• Support the development and implementation of supplier management processes.
• Assist in training and mentoring new team members.
• Identify risk factors and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field
• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience

• Project Management

Certifications

• Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
