Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Mucking Machine Operator who will be responsible for operating and maintaining mucking machines within a mining environment. You will be leading the charge in ensuring all operations run smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate mucking machines to transport materials.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition before use.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
• Collaborate with the mining team to optimize work processes.
• Maintain logs for machinery usage and maintenance activities.
• Participate actively in workforce safety initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments before operating machinery.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Mentor junior mucking machine operators in best practices.
• Foster a team-oriented environment focused on productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Valid operator's license for mucking machine

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in mining operations

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
