Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics for various events, ensuring all resources are available as needed.
• Develop and maintain project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Work closely with creative teams to design event themes and branding.
• Manage attendee registrations and communications regarding event details.
• Monitor event progress and handle any issues that arise on-site.
• Prepare and distribute event proposals and reports to stakeholders.
• Implement feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement of events.
• Organize and lead event planning meetings with teams and clients.
• Ensure that events are executed in line with client expectations.
• Leverage social media and digital marketing for promoting events.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in event planning or related roles

Technical Skills

• Social Media Marketing

Certifications

• Event Planning Certification from a recognized institution

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
