Job Description

As a Childcare Worker at Childcare Services in George, you will play a vital role in caring for and nurturing young children. Your responsibilities will include supervising play activities, preparing meals, and supporting children's emotional and social development in a safe and stimulating environment. Responsibilities

• Ensure the well-being and safety of children during activities.
• Develop fun and educational programs to stimulate growth.
• Collaborate with parents to address individual child needs.
• Monitor and document children's behavior and development.
• Lead group activities that promote learning and teamwork.
• Provide support to children during play and learning experiences.
• Create a nurturing environment that fosters creativity and curiosity.
• Assist with arrivals and departures of children, ensuring they are signed in and out safely.
• Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures in the childcare setting.
• Participate in community events and activities to promote the center.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Childcare or related field
• Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Education is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience working in a childcare setting

Certifications

• Child Development Associate Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
