Job Description

The Dispatch Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and managing the dispatch of goods and ensuring timely delivery to customers. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of customer service while ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the dispatch team to ensure high levels of service delivery.
• Develop and maintain effective delivery schedules.
• Ensure documentation accuracy for all dispatch activities.
• Resolve customer complaints regarding dispatch issues promptly.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to streamline operations.
• Record data in dispatch management software for tracking and reporting.
• Conduct training sessions for new dispatch staff.
• Regularly assess the performance of dispatch operations.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or similar field
• Certification in dispatch management or related field is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in dispatch management or logistics
