Job Description

We are seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to bolster our HR team in Durban. You will be pivotal in fostering employee engagement and addressing workplace concerns. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of South African labour laws and a passion for employee advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations strategies.
  • Oversee the handling of employee complaints and claims.
  • Support exit interviews and analyze turnover data.
  • Drive initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • Postgraduate qualification in HR Management is a definite plus
Experience
  • 5+ years' experience in an Employee Relations or HR advisory role
