Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Healthcare Administrator to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing healthcare operations and improving overall patient satisfaction. You'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, overseeing administrative staff, and facilitating effective communication between departments.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee administrative functions including documentation, record-keeping, and patient registrations.
  • Develop strategies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Lead staff meetings to discuss operational goals and performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintain and manage budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Coordinate training and development programs for administrative staff.
  • Monitor patient feedback and implement improvement plans based on insights.
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and healthcare providers to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Master's degree preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare administration or a related field
