Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dentist to join our Durban practice. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic treatment. You will work closely with our skilled hygienists and support staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat dental disorders and dental hygiene.
• Engage with patients to build rapport and trust.
• Provide guidance and education on preventive dental care.
• Collaborate with specialists as necessary for advanced care.
• Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments.
• Monitor and manage dental clinic operations.
• Participate in case discussions and treatment planning with the team.
• Promote a positive and welcoming environment for patients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Clinical Dentistry

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Familiarity with digital dental technology: Experience using digital tools for diagnostics and treatment planning.
