Refrigeration Operator

Job Description

The Refrigeration Operator will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems in a variety of industries. Ideal candidates should have strong technical skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with all environmental and safety standards.
• Maintaining inventory of parts and supplies.
• Interacting with clients to address service inquiries and concerns.
• Performing system upgrades as required.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• Experience working with refrigeration systems in a manufacturing, food and beverage, or retail environment.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
• Understanding of health and safety regulations

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Safety Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working with high-pressure refrigeration systems: Experience with high-pressure systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of energy-efficient refrigeration practices: Familiarity with energy-efficient systems and practices.
