Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough exams and assessments of patients.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions.
• Maintain diligent medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with specialists for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in community health initiatives and programs.
• Stay updated with medical advancements and practices.
• Participate in training and mentoring of junior staff.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Diploma in Family Medicine is a plus.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• Health Professions Council of South Africa registration
• Advanced Life Support certification is preferred.
