Job Description

As a Pharmacist at Healthcare Solutions Pty Ltd, you will provide vital support to patients and healthcare providers in Port Elizabeth. We are looking for someone who is not only skilled in medication management but also passionate about patient education and community health.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough medication reviews and assess patient needs.
  • Participate in health promotion initiatives within the community.
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Assist in the development of patient care plans.
  • Ensure medications are dispensed within legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Address patient concerns regarding medication pricing and insurance.
  • Facilitate patient access to healthcare services and programs.
  • Utilize pharmacy management software for record-keeping.
  • Support pharmacy staff in their professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Additional qualification in Clinical Pharmacy is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in hospital pharmacy settings
