HR Generalist

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated HR Generalist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will manage HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. Ideal for an individual with a passion for HR and developing an inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent acquisition efforts, from sourcing candidates to making offers.
• Implement and track HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
• Support employee performance management processes and coaching.
• Advise management on HR-related issues and best practices.
• Organize team-building activities and events to foster workplace culture.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention.
• Ensure smooth HR operations by maintaining HR information systems.
• Assist in the development of training materials and workshops.
• Promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in labor laws.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• HR Certification is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position
