Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Electrical Engineer to enhance our projects in Cape Town. This role entails working on innovative electrical designs and systems, ensuring safety and efficiency in all implementations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement electrical designs according to project requirements.
• Work closely with project managers to align with project goals.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Supervise installation of electrical systems and ensure quality control.
• Review and approve technical drawings and schematics.
• Liaise with clients to understand their electrical needs and provide solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers for materials and components.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure projects stay on track.
• Lead design review meetings with the engineering team.
• Assist in budgeting and resource planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering roles
