Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Road Supervisor of Engines. You will supervise a dedicated crew in ensuring the maintenance, repair, and proper functioning of engines, while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the repair and maintenance of various engine types.
• Ensure that all repairs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to minimize costs.
• Coordinate with suppliers for parts and service requisitions.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure all staff are trained on protocols.
• Prepare reports on engine performance and maintenance activities.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and management.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 7 years experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role

Technical Skills

• Ability to operate engine diagnostic tools and software
• Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols

• Analytical and critical thinking skills

Certifications

• Relevant industry certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
