Job Description

The Fare Register Repairer plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of electronic fare registers in public transport. This hands-on position requires a keen eye for detail and technical expertise to maintain these essential devices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostics on fare equipment and resolve malfunctions.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment as required.
  • Support the team in adhering to public transport regulations.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to enhance maintenance procedures.
  • Training newer technicians on best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during repairs.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate or equivalent
  • Technical diploma or certificate in electronics or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic repairs
