We are on the lookout for an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to lead our property in Durban. Your primary responsibility will involve overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring high standards of guest service, and implementing effective operational strategies. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be collaborating with various departments to create memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, training, and evaluation of staff performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises to ensure quality standards are met.
• Develop marketing strategies to boost hotel occupancy and revenues.
• Prepare reports on the hotel’s operational, financial, and budgetary performance.
• Foster partnerships within the local community to enhance the hotel's presence.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
• Postgraduate qualification is desirable

Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in hotel operations or management

• Revenue Management Systems
