Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Food and Beverage Manager to join our team in Durban. In this key role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure the delivery of exceptional service experiences for our guests. Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Develop seasonal menus that reflect local ingredients and trends.
  • Enhance profitability through effective cost control measures.
  • Supervise and inspire staff to provide top-tier customer service.
  • Ensure all health and safety standards are met and maintained.
  • Work closely with marketing to drive promotions and reservations.
  • Conduct staff meetings to align everyone on goals and expectations.
  • Evaluate and respond to guest feedback to improve service.
  • Prepare reports on food and beverage performance for management.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management preferred
  • Advanced certification in restaurant management is a plus
