Job Description

An Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B) is responsible for providing urgent medical care to injured or ill patients. You will respond to emergency calls, assess patients, stabilize their condition, and transport them to medical facilities, ensuring their safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Quickly and effectively respond to emergency situations, providing immediate medical assistance.
• Evaluate patient needs and provide appropriate treatment in accordance with protocols.
• Transport patients, ensuring constant monitoring and care throughout the journey.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness at all times.
• Engage in regular training and assessments for skill readiness.
• Communicate clearly and accurately with team members and medical facility staff about patient conditions.
• Maintain professional conduct at all times considering the sensitive nature of the job.
