Job Description

We are looking for an empathetic Clinical Psychologist who will contribute to our mission of promoting mental well-being. Your responsibilities will include conducting evaluations, leading therapy sessions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Create rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families.
• Assess progress and adjust treatment strategies as required.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
• PhD in Psychology is a bonus

Experience

• 4+ years of direct clinical experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)
• Psychodynamic therapy

Soft Skills

• Active listening
• Adaptability

Certifications

• HPCSA Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
