Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and have a passion for helping people. You will assist pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare products to patients.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training and orientation for new pharmacy staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy area.
• Assist with inventory control and restocking medications.
• Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Document all relevant medication usage and dispensing activities.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Pharmacy Technician qualification is preferred

Experience

• 1+ years experience in a pharmacy setting preferred

Technical Skills

• Pharmacy Management Systems
• Medication Dispensing

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Customer Service

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with compounding: Knowledge of medication compounding techniques.
• Fluency in Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in Afrikaans is an advantage.
