We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical design and a passion for innovative engineering solutions. In this role, you will lead design projects from concept through to final production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch products.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development projects from concept to production.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and feedback.
• Develop testing plans and evaluate mechanical systems.
• Ensure designs comply with the latest engineering standards.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and client services.
• Review and approve designs from team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Professional registration is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in product design and development

Advantageous
