Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory management in our Cape Town office. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels, managing stock discrepancies, and supporting the logistics team in the distribution process.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with inventory management policies.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align inventory with demand.
• Utilize data analysis to optimize inventory turnover.
• Assist with the development of inventory budgets.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to inventory practices.
• Participate in staff meetings to discuss inventory performance.
• Communicate effectively with all departments to facilitate inventory goals.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Business Administration or relevant field
• Additional qualifications in logistics preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in inventory management or related area

• Excel and Inventory Systems
