Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Food Scientist to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will utilise their expertise in food technology to help innovate and improve our product offerings, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and consumer health.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in the development of natural and sustainable food ingredients.
  • Oversee the entire product development process from concept to market launch.
  • Conduct shelf-life studies and stability testing for various food products.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop compelling product narratives based on scientific insights.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or Food Engineering
  • Master's degree in Food Science is preferred

  • 5+ years in food product development
