Job Description

The Livestock Farmworker will be responsible for various tasks related to the care and management of livestock on the farm. This includes feeding, cleaning, and ensuring the overall well-being of animals. The role demands physical strength, attention to detail, and a dedication to animal welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily feed and water schedules for livestock.
  • Maintain hygiene in animal housing and surroundings.
  • Administer care and medications as required.
  • Keep track of livestock health and report anomalies.
  • Help manage breeding and birthing routines.
  • Participate in farm upkeep and machinery operation.
  • Document all relevant activities related to livestock.
  • Comply with all farm safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Stay updated on animal welfare best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience in livestock care or animal husbandry is an advantage.
Technical Skills
