Job Description

As a Construction and Building Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring that construction projects comply with industry standards and technical specifications. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, documenting findings, and collaborating with contractors to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all phases of construction work to ensure compliance.
• Draft detailed reports highlighting compliance and areas needing attention.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Evaluate construction methodologies and materials for compliance.
• Act as the main point of contact for compliance queries.
• Engage in continuous learning about updated regulations and practices.
• Ensure all inspections are conducted as per schedule.
• Maintain a professional relationship with contractors and stakeholders.
• Assist in crisis management during compliance issues.
• Participate in safety audits and risk assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a similar field
• Additional certifications in Quality Control are advantageous

Experience

• Experience working with government agencies and/or private clients

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of safety regulations
• Familiarity with environmental regulations

Soft Skills

• Conflict resolution skills
• Leadership skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with environmental regulations: Knowledge of legal standards regarding environmental impacts.
