Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of local and international tax laws, with a strong ability to provide exceptional client service and financial strategies. You will be responsible for assisting clients in tax planning, compliance, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze tax implications of new regulations and inform clients accordingly.
• Prepare forecasts for tax liabilities and assist in cash flow management.
• Implement best practices in tax compliance and reporting.
• Review tax documentation and contracts for compliance.
• Provide training and support to junior staff in tax matters.
• Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction with services.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to explain tax strategies.
• Develop internal processes to improve efficiency and client service.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field
• Master's degree in Taxation or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in tax consulting

• Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
