Job Description

We are seeking an IT Technician to support our growing team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing technical support across various systems, ensuring a smooth and efficient IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage network performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Respond to user support requests in a timely manner.
• Assist with the setup of IT equipment for new employees.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on IT systems.
• Help develop training materials and user guides.
• Analyze system performance and suggest improvements.
• Manage inventory of IT assets and supplies.
• Stay updated on the latest technology trends and developments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Certification in IT Support is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a technical support role

• Mac OS
• Microsoft Office Suite

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
