Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing process in our Cape Town facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of production management, quality control, and team dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the production process from raw material to finished product.
  • Ensure that products meet quality specifications through rigorous testing and quality assurance procedures.
  • Train production staff in new protocols and technologies.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align production with demand forecasts.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain inventory levels and oversee procurement of necessary supplies.
  • Serve as a liaison between production and other departments, fostering collaboration.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate production disruptions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
  • Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in industrial production
