Job Description

As a Custom Miller, you will be responsible for operating milling machines that create custom-made metal products to the exact specifications of our clients. You will oversee the entire milling process from setup to completion while ensuring quality and accuracy throughout.

Responsibilities

• Configure and adjust milling machines according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Conduct quality assurance tests on produced items to ensure standards.
• Effectively communicate with the production team about project needs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management and material procurement.
• Implement improvements for operational efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
• Certification in CNC machining is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in custom fabrication.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• CNC machining experience: Experience in operating CNC machines and blueprints.
