Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Learning and Development Specialist to create, implement, and oversee training programs that enhance employee skills and performance. This role involves working closely with various departments to identify training needs and deliver effective learning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create a learning agenda that aligns with organizational goals and employee development needs.
• Facilitate onboarding and continuous development programs for employees.
• Measure the impact of training programs on employee performance and satisfaction.
• Prepare and present regular reports on training metrics and progress.
• Manage training budgets and resources effectively.
• Promote a culture of learning by encouraging employee participation in training programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in learning and development or training roles

Technical Skills

• Instructional Design
• E-learning Development

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
• Train the Trainer Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS): Familiarity with platforms such as Moodle or Blackboard for course administration.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles: Understanding of how adults learn and adapt to new information.
