HR Generalist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our Bloemfontein team. This role is integral to supporting our HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for people and a strong understanding of South African labor regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct recruitment activities for all levels within the organization.
• Oversee employee onboarding and training programs to enhance new hire integration.
• Develop and implement employee satisfaction surveys to gauge morale.
• Assist in developing a diversity and inclusion strategy for the workplace.
• Monitor and report on HR metrics related to recruitment, retention, and employee engagement.
• Provide support to management in addressing personnel issues and performance concerns.
• Prepare and present HR reports to management.
• Ensure all HR processes are compliant with South African labor laws.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in human resources roles

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of South African labor laws
• Recruitment and Selection

Certifications

• HR Management Certification
• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

• Experience with HRIS systems: Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems to manage employee data.
• Experience in employee training and development: Background in facilitating employee training programs and workshops.
