Job Description

As a Timing Device Assembler, you will be responsible for the assembly and adjustment of various timing devices, ensuring they meet industry standards. The ideal candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring quality control throughout the assembly process.

Responsibilities

• Assemble timing devices and adjust settings as per quality standards.
• Inspect finished barrels for correctness and compliance.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and improvements.
• Support the training of new staff on assembly procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Record production metrics and report discrepancies.
• Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance team for product checks.
• Assist with the management of inventory for assembly materials.
• Contribute ideas for process improvements.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Technical Certification or Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in barrel assembly or a related field.
